About the BHETA
The 300 UK based manufacturers and suppliers who form the membership of the BHETA account for annual UK retail sales of over £7 billion and exports of over £500 million. With direct contact with government and members' customers, both at home and overseas, the BHETA mission is "to represent our members' interests and contribute to their commercial success".
"If you are already a member of the BHETA, you will know that your Association is here to serve you, to answer your questions, to assist you in any way it can and always to offer you a warm welcome at any of our events.
"Our members are the manufacturers, suppliers and distributors in the DIY, Housewares and Brush markets. We are the most influential independent UK trade association at the heart of the Home & Garden market and we are entirely funded by our members' subscriptions and membership services.
"Consumer behaviour patterns, domestic and world economic conditions and the legislative climate drive constant and rapid change in all our sectors. By working together with our members, we represent their interests at the highest level and offer timely information, advice and valuable assistance. Through exclusive events and sector meetings, we offer our members access to national and global networks and real trading opportunities.
"We constantly invest in a developing portfolio of Association services to give our members the opportunity of first class training and development facilities as well as cost-effective, practical support with legislation, recruitment, export and other crucial aspects of our members businesses.
